Conflict counsellor

An independent and trustworthy person who helps leaders resolve tension between people and in teams.

Get in touch

We offer the leaders of your organisation an independent and trustworthy person they can turn to with difficult interpersonal issues.

In conflicts, emotions take over and constructiveness tends to disappear. Understanding gives way to judgements and accusations, and people get stuck in the past. At such moments we need a trustworthy person beside us who listens, supports and helps find solutions.

What value does a conflict counsellor create?

  1. 01Experiencing a non-judgemental attitude, being listened to and understood
  2. 02Less emotional tension
  3. 03More clarity within yourself and putting your needs into words
  4. 04A better understanding of the other party
  5. 05Greater acceptance of the situation, yourself and others
  6. 06An orientation towards finding solutions
  7. 07Agreeing on next steps and arrangements
  1. 01

Have you found yourself in a situation where

    • you are stuck and don’t know how to deal with people better
    • tension between two people or across the whole team has grown out of hand
    • you have become too emotional to be an impartial listener
    • you lack the skills, patience or time to help people find the will to cooperate and the solutions
  2. 02

    An external conflict counsellor

    • is neutral and impartial, with no personal interests in the organisation
    • is professionally trained to listen to people, counsel them and mediate conflicts
    • helps the parties express their needs, understand each other and reach agreements and solutions
