Have you ever noticed that something you know well suddenly won’t come to mind? For example, a friend’s or colleague’s surname, a date, or when an event takes place. It is often startling, even frightening. Sound familiar?
Often the reason is that, because of the fast pace of work, not enough breaks have been taken. We know from sport that every effort must be followed by relaxation. But where and when are the moments and places for relaxation at work?
If you want to become a better friend to yourself and develop your skills in coping with stress, you are welcome to the PAUSE workshop!
01
The PAUSE workshop is for you if any of these sentences apply to you:
- You want to cope better with stressful working days and feel more content
- You want practical, real-life solutions and recommendations
- It matters to you to find joy in your work and what you do
02
In the PAUSE workshop we learn:
- Why does the brain need a pause?
- What kind of pause really helps?
- How does a pause affect life?
- WHETHER, WHERE and WHEN to take a pause?
- You will also learn different presence practices to manage your own wellbeing and relieve stress.
03
Why is a pause important?
Do you also sometimes find that you have unnoticeably been sitting at your desk for hours, without getting up or eating, and have even forgotten to drink?
Wanting to do great things, we can forget our own needs and self-care. Speed and busyness may give a feeling of satisfaction and efficiency, but if we forget to relax in between, our effectiveness drops, and in the long run both our mental and physical health are at risk.
04
Where? How? When?
We run the workshop both virtually and on site.
The best group size is 10–15 people, as it allows good direct contact between participants. The maximum number of participants is 40.
The workshop lasts 1.5 hours.
Facilitator
The workshop is led by a Sunergos development trainer
